As people are opting for fewer refined grain products, a lot are switching their dogs to a gluten-free diet too.

2 cups fine almond flour

½  cup coconut flour

2 tablespoons ground flax seed

½ cup peanut butter (xylitol-free)

½ cup water


Preheat oven to 150ºC

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper

Combine flours with flaxseeds

Add peanut butter and water. Mix together

Kneed mixture until it forms a dough ball

Roll out to approximately 1cm thick. Use a cookie cutter to stamp out biscuits or cut into squares

Bake for 20 – 30 minutes

  • Almond flour provides healthy fats, protein, fiber, magnesium and vitamin E
  • Coconut flour offers fiber, iron and a small amount of protein 
  • Peanut butter is packed with protein and healthy oils
  • Flax seeds are rich in Omega-3 fatty acids, fiber and a small amount of protein
